Community and Campaign Organisation of the Year
From a catalogue of ‘Friends of’ groups to a dense network of community-based campaign organisations, Sussex is filled with people making the world a little bit better. This award will go to the group showing breadth and depth of impact.
Volunteer of the Year
Volunteers are the unsung heroes of the environmental movement, providing a much needed and valued workforce. Our volunteer of the year will show extraordinary commitment to their work.
Green Building
We want to hear about innovative and genuinely environmentally friendly developments: large scale projects which have succeeded against the odds, smaller projects which have overcome their own obstacles.
Green Champion
Our eco-hero has made a big difference to Sussex, pushing sustainability issues to the front of the agenda or tackling environmental issues head on through work or campaigning.
Young Environmentalist
The young environmentalist of the year is enthusiastic, active in sustainability issues andmotivated to push green issues forward.
Foodie of the Year
This award recognises individuals or organisations getting the people of Sussex to think about and the way we eat, produce and transport our food, and most importantly, getting us all to act on having tastier, healthier, greener food.
Biodiversity Award

Green School
Sussex is thick with certified eco schools, but is yours the greenest? Eco-committees and after-school clubs, richly biodiverse grounds and healthy, happy, excited pupils characterise our top school.
