The Wood Recycling Project is inspirational for all sorts of reasons but mainly I think because they have demonstrated what can be done with a strong resolve. I know that it hasn’t been easy for them and many would have given in to the pressure of keeping such a project going. They are hero’s in my book and more than deserve any recognition that comes their way.
Surviving 12 years is an achievement but what really makes them sooo special is they keep getting better!

A great shop with great staff and a superb ethos. There is too much waste in the world and these guys are doing so
something about and helping some vulnerable people get back on track on the way!!

What a great place and what a worthwhile activity! I have a kitchen worktop made from 200 year old pine that used to be in a building in Brighton… how does that compare with formica! It doesnt!

Because they recycle wood when so much of it is wasted in landfill and they make beautiful artefacts from the wood they have reclaimed.
